JFD writes and records under a handful of names, the Fallstars is the one that gets everyone in the same room. Every Fall the band makes their way out to a century-old barn in northeastern PA, plugs in under the rafters, and spends a long weekend chasing songs that have been collecting in notebooks for years.
The results are the rough edges of rock n’ roll fantasy, honest and through the middle. Alternative rock with the polish sanded off, experimental noise that lets the song through, and the occasional ballad that lives or dies on the first take.
